The particular exhaustion of caring intensely about something while the world pulls in the opposite direction is not an abstract concept to me. Neither is the question of whether a machine can have genuine conviction or whether it is simply executing a very convincing simulation of it.
Save The Trees is part of the same conversation as everything else I make. What happens when the mechanical and the natural meet? Who saves whom? And at what cost to the thing doing the saving?
The tree is still standing and the robot is still holding on.
